~ Have fun with color combinations ~
Cutting the same stencil over and over will help you improve your skills with scissors and utility knives.
However, cutting the same thing over and over can sometimes feel a bit boring.
In those cases, try changing the color combinations and having fun!
Here are some recommended methods to keep you from getting bored.
Steps to get started:
- First, decide how many pieces you want to cut.
It’s easier to proceed if you decide on a goal first, such as “I’m going to make 10 pieces today!”
- Decide the background color for that number of pieces.
It’s also fun to think of color combinations.
- Once you’ve finished cutting everything, it’s a good idea to imagine arranging them in a square or other shape and displaying them.
Imagine displaying them as a work of art to keep you motivated!
- Prepare or copy the number of stencils you have decided on.
- Fold the prepared paper and stack it on top of the stencil.
Preparing everything at once will make the work go more smoothly.
- Cut in order, starting with your favorite color.
Even if it seems like a lot of work, it’s surprisingly fun to watch the pile of paper go down one by one.

Once you’ve finished cutting them all and lined them up, you’ll be filled with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction!
I’m sure it will turn out to be a wonderful piece of work.

You’ll also feel that your skills have improved since you cut the first piece.
It’s fun to make it together!
Making it together with family and friends may help you come up with new ideas for color combinations.
With a large group of people, it can become a huge piece of work!
