When you’re cutting paper, have you ever had trouble choosing the color of your origami paper?
For example, if the motif is a flower, you might think, “Let’s use a flower-like color,” or if the design is a leaf, “Green seems to suit it.”
Perhaps we, the people who make the templates, can naturally choose the colors because we can imagine the finished product to a certain extent.

However, for those who only pick up the templates, there may be times when they don’t know what kind of shape it will be.
In that case, don’t hesitate to choose “your favorite color.”
There are so many combinations of paper colors that you can say are infinite.

For example, let’s say you have two sets of origami paper with 100 colors. If you choose two pieces from them and combine them, you will create about 5,000 combinations. And if you switch the front and background paper, the combinations will be about 10,000.
What do you think? Doesn’t that make you feel a little better?
This time, we were thinking about how to combine two pieces of paper, and we made a new discovery.
First, We arranged the 16 sets in a way that looked good, using the paper that would become the front as a guide.

We then folded the paper that would be cut on top of that and combined it with the template to make a set.
We was surprised when We looked at the remaining 16 pieces of paper for the background. There were a lot of cool colors left.

As you can see from this, color combinations may reflect a person’s unique “habits” and “preferences.”
So, what kind of color combinations would you go for?
We hope you’ll use your imagination and have fun exploring the world of color.
